How much is ChatGPT Plus, and what can it do for a small business?
ChatGPT Plus is $20 a month. It reads Gmail and Google Calendar, can create reply drafts in Gmail, and runs up to 5 active scheduled tasks.
- Connect Gmail: Plugins in the sidebar, pick Gmail, Install plugin, Connect, sign in to Google. Do the same for Google Calendar.
- Schedule a job: open Scheduled and set a schedule, or ask in a chat, for example: "Every weekday at 7am, check my Gmail and calendar and give me my morning briefing using these instructions: ..."
- Watch for: a task made inside a project can't read that project's files, so paste the instructions into the task itself. Sending or changing something outside ChatGPT may pause for your approval.
How much is Claude Pro, and can it answer email?
Claude Pro is $20 a month, or $17 a month paid yearly. It reads Gmail and Google Calendar and runs scheduled tasks, but its Gmail connection is read-only: it can't create drafts or send, so replies appear in Claude for you to copy.
- Connect Gmail: Customize, Connectors, Gmail, Connect, sign in to Google. Same for Google Calendar. In a chat, turn them on with the + at the lower left, then Connectors.
- Schedule a job: Scheduled in the sidebar, New task, then Create with Claude or Set up manually (name, prompt, frequency). Or describe the job and how often in any chat and confirm.
- Good to know: scheduled jobs run remotely, so your computer can be off.
How much is SuperGrok, and what do its connectors do?
SuperGrok is $30 a month. Grok's Google Workspace and Outlook connectors read and write, scheduled Automations run on every plan, and email-triggered Automations need SuperGrok.
- Connect Google Workspace: Connectors, on the web, iOS or Android.
- Schedule a job: go to grok.com/automations, or ask Grok in a chat to set it up. Write the instructions, add connectors, add a schedule or an email trigger (SuperGrok), press Run now to test, and choose how it reports (email or app notification).
Can a small business use the free plans?
Yes, by copy and paste. On the free plans you can run an interview and use assistants by pasting messages in, but automatic scheduled jobs are limited. For example, ChatGPT Free allows 3 tasks, at most daily.
